Amalraj attends Durand flag-off ceremony

Victor Amalraj, former India captain, and Sandesh Jhingan, the current Indian team captain, attended the Durand Cup flag-off ceremony in Delhi, graced by President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Hyderabad: Former India captain Victor Amalraj, who has the rare distinction of leading all three of Bengal’s famous clubs—Mohammedan Sporting, Mohun Bagan, and East Bengal—and Sandesh Jhingan, present Indian team captain and Arjuna Awardee, were among the select invitees for the Durand Cup flag-off ceremony in Delhi on Friday.

The event was graced by the President of India, Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi.
