Veteran athlete Milkha Singh’s demise has taken netizens by shock. The legendary sprinter passed away from Covid-related complications on June 18.

Joining several celebrities in remembering Milkha Singh, superstar Amitabh Bachchan shared the last page of his autobiography ‘The Race of My Life’. Calling it an inspiration for many, the actor tweets the image of the page which reflects the athletes’ approach towards life.


“My last words will be, life as a player is very difficult. There will be times when you think of dropping it or choosing shortcuts but remember there is no shortcut to success,” the page read.
