Farhan Akhtar celebrated 10 years of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' by taking to Instagram, sharing a poster of the film, and penning down a note.

On Twitter, Amul posted a heart-touching graphic of the ‘Flying Sikh’ sprinting and touching the race ribbon.

The legendary sprinter passed away from Covid-related complications on June 18.

"I was expecting a higher award than the Arjuna since I won the Padma Shri in 1959 for winning the Commonwealth Games gold in 440 yards the same year," he said, referring to Padma Bhushan. And he said it with a solid, valid reason.

"Don't worry, I am in good spirits...I am surprised, How could I get this infection?...I hope to get over it soon," Milkha had said in his last interaction before being hospitalised, sounding his usual jovial self, supremely confident of his legendary fitness.

Farhan posted a picture on Instagram posing with Milkha, who was popularly known as the 'Flying Sikh'.The actor penned a note saying that he refuses to accept that Milkha Singh is no more.

The 91-year-old, who tested negative for Covid-19 on Wednesday and was shifted to the general ICU, is being closely monitored by a team of doctors.

Nirmal, who contracted the deadly virus last month, was brought to Fortis Hospital at Mohali on May 26, two days after Milkha was admitted to the same facility

Earlier on Sunday, Milkha Singh was discharged from a private hospital in Mohali where he received treatment for Covid-19 infection

Mr Milkha Singh was admitted at Fortis Hospital, Mohali in the Intensive Care Unit on 24th May 2021 with covid pneumonia. He is stable and presently on low flow oxygen and medical management

Hospital sources said that Milkha's condition was "stable".
