A rare sculpture of Lord Parshvanadha, 23 or 24th Tirthankara found at Pocharam village

Sangareddy: A historian has identified a rare sculpture of Lord Parshvanadha, 23 or 24th Tirthankara, at Pocharam village in Patancheru Mandal.
The historian, a member of Kotha Telangana Charitra Brundam (KTCB), visited the village a few days ago.

Patancheru, a historical town, was called Potlacheruvu or Pothalakere during the ancient days. It was a famous Jain Centre during the Rashtra Kutas and Kalayana Chalukyas period.
