Andhra Kabaddi general secretary Srikanth nominated as technical official for 3rd Asian Youth Games

The event is scheduled to be held in Bahrain from October 21 to 30

Hyderabad: Yalamanchili Srikanth, general secretary of the Andhra Kabaddi Association, has been nominated as a technical official by the organising committee of the 3rd Asian Youth Games, scheduled to be held in Bahrain from October 21 to 30.

As per the communication received from the organisers, Srikanth has been provided with Visa and Airfare arrangements, and he will be leaving from Vijayawada today to take up his official assignment at the Games venue.

This prestigious nomination is a recognition of his outstanding contributions to Kabaddi, particularly the successful conduct of the National Beach Kabaddi Championship for Men & Women at Manginapudi Beach, Machilipatnam, and the consistent performances of Andhra Pradesh teams in National Championships and Khelo India Youth Games. Based on these achievements, the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) recommended his name to the Organising Committee, leading to his selection as a Technical Official.
