Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer Anjani Kumar took charge as Director-General of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Saturday.

He was among the 30 IPS officers, who were transferred by the State government in a major reshuffle carried out on Friday. The State government appointed another senior IPS officer CV Anand as City Police Commissioner replacing Anjani Kumar.

Anjani Kumar served as City Police Commissioner from March 2018 till December 24, 2021.
