Another farmer ends life in Telangana’s Khammam district

Mounting debts and poor agricultural prospects were said to have forced the farmer to end his life; he hanged himself to death at his house

Khammam: A farmer, burdened with debt, reportedly died by suicide at Chinamandava Chintakani mandal in the district.

This is the fourth farmer suicide in the mandal this year.

T Aggiramulu (42) was cultivating his one acre land along with three acres of leased land. Mounting debts and poor agricultural prospects were said to have forced the farmer to end his life. He hanged himself at his house late on Friday night.

Based on a complaint by his family, the local police booked a case in connection with the incident and launched a probe.

BRS Chintakani mandal president Pentyla Pullaiah condoled the death of the farmer.
