Another suspected snake bite incident reported at Peddapur Gurukulam school
A Class 8 student at Peddapur Gurukulam school in Jagtial was reportedly bitten by a snake on Thursday. Though unconfirmed, two bite marks were found on his leg. The incident has revived fears after last year’s fatal snake bites.

Jagtial: Another suspected case of snake bite was reported from the Peddapur Gurukulam school on Thursday, triggering panic among students, parents and staff.
Navanit, a Class 8 student, was reportedly bitten by a snake. While it was not immediately confirmed whether a snake had bitten him, two bite marks were found on one of his legs.
The school staff shifted him to the Korutla Government Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Parents and staff remain anxious due to the uncertainty over the cause of the bite.
It may be recalled that last year, two students had died and several others were injured following snake bite incidents reported from the same school.
