Visakhapatnam: Rajya Sabha member from YSR Congress Party, Vijay Sai Reddy on Friday alleged that former Union Minister P. Asok Gajapathi Raju had resorted to irregularities with respect to hundreds of acres of land in MANSAS Trust and therefore would go to jail.

Talking to reporters here, the MP said that a forgery case was booked against Raju in the past. The state government would prefer to go for an appeal in the MANSAS Trust case, he stated.

“The Telugu Desam Party leaders could get a temporary stay in the land grabbing issue. But there is no way they can escape punishment. There is no question of sparing those who encroach upon government lands,” Vijay Sai Reddy said.
