Hyderabad: The Principal, staff and students of Army Public School Golconda gave a warm farewell to Major General RK Singh, General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area and patron of APS. After a welcome speech by Principal Vidya Muralidharan, the event commenced with an invocation dance by the students.
The Principal thanked the patron for his guidance and support during the pandemic and appreciated the concrete steps taken by the school under his guidance to bridge the digital divide and promote equity.
Major General RK Singh also had an interactive session with the students and encouraged them to follow their passion. He observed that APS can be judged among the top schools in the country in terms of academics, co-curricular activities, sports as well as infrastructure. The event ended on a high note with the school band, Heart Hackers, belting out popular instrumental music.
