Army Public School: Invigorating unity in diversity
Hyderabad: To celebrate India as a nation where different cultural units persist in different geographies, Army Public School, Golconda demonstrated a mesmerising exhibition on the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat,’ an initiative by CBSE, which aims to promote mutual understanding amongst the people of different States.
The complete journey between the States of Haryana and Telangana seasoned with rich and vast culture and traditional practices of both States were exhibited in an interactive and collaborative activity-based fashion.
The school collaborated with Army Public School, Hisar and had an interactive Zoom session about the States of Telangana and Haryana. Students from both schools explored the unity in diversity between one of the oldest and latest formed States. It was a great opportunity to create an environment to promote learning between States by sharing best practices and experiences. Giving an exposure of mass participation for class I-VIII, the activities were designed in such a manner that the students researched each and every fragment of both the States which included food, fabric, crops, soils, habitat, sports, cinema, literature, art, attire and many more.
The students enthusiastically participated and exhibited the part which they were interested in presenting and made every single effort to make the show a grand success. Vidya Muralidharan, principal, Army Public School, Golconda appreciated the efforts of the students in examining and promoting the ensemble features of both States.
