Artisan found dead in KTPP sump in Bhupalpally

An artisan, T Suresh of Kompelli, died after allegedly falling into the fly ash sump at Kakatiya Thermal Power Project in Bhupalpally. His body was found on Wednesday, a day after the incident. Police have booked a case and begun investigation.

Bhupalpally: An artisan was found dead in the fly ash sump at Kakatiya Thermal Power Project (KTPP) in Chelpur of Ganapuram mandal on Wednesday.

The deceased, T Suresh of Kompelli, who was working at the first phase of the 500 MW KTPP, is suspected to have accidentally fallen into the sump while on duty on Tuesday. His body was found floating the next day.


Local police visited the spot, retrieved the body, booked a case and launched an investigation.
