Ash tanker rams into sub-station in Karimnagar

The tanker carrying ash from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) crashed through the compound wall and rammed into the sub-station after the driver lost control over the wheels.

Karimnagar: An ash tanker rammed into a 220 kv sub-station near Durshed of Karimnagar rural mandal on Thursday morning.

The tanker carrying ash from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) crashed through the compound wall and rammed into the sub-station after the driver lost control over the wheels.


The vehicle stopped after hitting the cement poles at the sub-station. If the vehicle had not stopped, it would have caused bigger damage. On getting information about the incident, police rushed to the spot and took the driver into custody.
