Ashray Akruti celebrates International Day of Sign Languages with resounding “Signathon 2024” Run
The event featured a captivating 2 km Sign March, interactive sessions on Indian Sign Language (ISL), a Talent Showcase with inspiring performances by students, and a Flashmob followed by the National Anthem in ISL.

Hyderabad: Ashray Akruti, a registered NGO working to improve the lives of people with disabilities and marginalized sections of society, organized its annual ‘Signathon’ run coinciding with the International Day of Sign Languages on Sunday.
More than 1,500 people including children from deaf and dumb schools, participated in the ‘Signathon 2024’ at Gachibowli Stadium. Nitin Sharma, Senior Director of Technology and Patent Counsel at Qualcomm, was the chief guest at the event which also had participation of Harish Kumar Sirapu, Hyderabad CCC Chair Person, State Street, JSR Prasad, Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital, Archana Suresh, Telangana-Social Impact group, Dept. of Industries, Mani Shyam Sundar, Senior Director Partner Management & Site Director, and Sunitha Tangella, Manager, Client Analytics, Unisys.
