Asifabad: Free coaching for TET, TRT ends

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The 90-day long free Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) coaching programme extended by Koneru Charitable Trust, a Kaghaznagar-based voluntary organisation, ended in Kaghaznagar town and Koutala mandal centre simultaneously on Monday.
Sirpur (T) MLA Koneru Konappa’s wife Ramadevi was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony held at Kaghaznagar, while Zilla Parishad Vice-Chairperson K Krishna Rao and Asifabad MLA Athram Sakku attended the event conducted in Koutala mandal headquarters.
Konappa, who was taking part in canvassing of the TRS party’s candidate in bye-elections to Nagarjunasagar segment, wished success for the candidates by speaking over the phone.
Konappu assured to extend all support to the candidates in future and sought them to excel in TET and TRT with the help of the quality coaching provided by the trust. He said that the aspirants of teacher jobs must secure a major chunk of posts and play a vital role in the growth of the region known for backwardness.
Ramadevi, Krishna Rao and Sakku advised the candidates to shine in the tests and to bring recognition to Sirpur (T) constituency. They were all praise for the trust for coming forward to offer the coaching by roping in subject experts belonging to reputed institutions of Avanigadda and Warangal by spending around Rs 1 crore. They suggested the aspirants to utlise the study material given by the trust for free.
The trust, with the help of donors, began the coaching at the camp office of Sirpur (T) MLA in Kaghaznagar and a sports stadium in Koutala on January 18. It provided lunch to around 1,400 candidates belonging not only to Sirpur (T) Assembly constituency, but also neighboring Asifabad, Bellampalli, Mancherial, Chennur and Jagtial.
