Hyderabad: After BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao exposed the Congress government’s failure in multiple sectors, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said the State government was prepared to conduct an Assembly session from January 2 to discuss the River Krishna and Godavari water-sharing disputes at length.
Alleging that the BRS president had agreed to the 64 percent share of River Krishna water to Andhra Pradesh and 36 percent to Telangana, he tried to counter Chandrashekhar Rao by saying that it was the latter who was responsible for Telangana’s loss in the River Krishna basin.
Claiming that the Congress government was fighting for a 71 percent share in River Godavari waters, he also defended the State government’s move to introduce a mobile app for farmers to book urea bags.
