Hyderabad: Actor Atharvaa Murali is gearing up to thrill audiences with his upcoming action drama Tunnel, which will hit theatres on September 12. Directed by Ravindra Madhava, the film features Lavanya Tripathi as the heroine and Ashwin Kakumanu in a powerful negative role. The Telugu version will be released through A Raju Nayak’s Lachuram Productions.
The Tamil trailer, launched recently, has already created good buzz. It showcases the face-off between a young police officer played by Atharvaa and an ex-soldier turned criminal essayed by Ashwin. More than a chase between good and bad, the film highlights how one incident changes two men’s lives, turning one into a fighter for justice and the other into a feared outlaw. This emotional core is expected to give the action a strong impact.
The technical team includes music composer Justin Prabhakaran, cinematographer Sakthi Saravanan, and editor Kalaivanan. Their work is set to add pace and intensity to the film.
