Awareness programme on dyslexia held in Ramagundam
Inaugurating the programme, President of Deepthi Mahila Samithi, Usha Kumar asked the participating teachers to be compassionate towards dyslexia children who need special care for their proper growth.
Peddapalli: National Thermal Power Corporation-Ramagundam CSR in association with Deepthi Mahila Samithi and Dhanwanthari hospital organised a one-day awareness programme for government school teachers on how to deal with dyslexia children. Lady teachers from 30 government schools participated in the awareness programme held at EDC, NTPC on Saturday.
Inaugurating the programme, President of Deepthi Mahila Samithi, Usha Kumar asked the participating teachers to be compassionate towards dyslexia children who need special care for their proper growth.
Speaking on the subject through a powerpoint presentation, Dr Kamaraju Vijaya from NTPC-Ramagundam hospital spoke in detail on how to deal with children with special needs majorly focusing on dyslexia and the issues faced by children in schools as well as societal pressure.
Office bearers of Deepthi Mahila Samithi and officials from CSR Department were present on the occasion.
