Bajrang Dal activists thrash teacher for misbehaving with girl students in Bhupalpally

A physical education teacher at a private school in Bhupalpally was assaulted by Bajrang Dal activists following allegations of harassment against girl students, both in person and on social media.

Bhupalpally: Bajrang Dal activists thrashed a physical education teacher who was allegedly misbehaving with girl students of a private school and harassing them on social media.

The incident occurred at the Balaji Integrated Teaching School (BITS) in Bhupalpally district headquarters on Thursday. Speaking to the media, the activists said some of the students had complained to them about the harassment by a teacher, identified as Banoth Mohan.

Later, the activists lodged a complaint with the Bhupalpally police seeking action against the teacher. They also asked the school management to dismiss Mohan and another teacher Kiran, who was also allegedly troubling the students.

Police said action would be taken after an investigation.
