Hyderabad: Maharashtra former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said Telangana State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s ‘Praja Sangrama yatra’ would bring change in Telangana.
“If you want the farmer and people friendly government in the State, everyone should bless Sanjay,” he said while taking part in the yatra with Sanjay in Chevella. “The fight has now started,” he said extending blessings to Sanjay for starting the yatra to achieve what he described as “Democratic Telangana.”
He demanded the State government completely waive the crop loans. Interacting with farmers on the eighth day of his yatra, Sanjay said he came to Chevella to know the problems being faced by the people. “With your blessings, I am conducting the yatra across the State with an aim to establish a farmer-friendly government with the peoples support. The BJP will come to power in 2023 with your blessings,” he said.
Listing out various schemes introduced by the Central government for the welfare of poor people and farmers, Sanjay said the Prime Minister Kisan Samman scheme was introduced by Narendra Modi government at the Centre to support farmers.
“Funds are being credited directly to each farmer’s account, including those who took land on lease,” he said. The Central Government has sanctioned Rs.244 crore to 1,30,895 farmers in the area through the Kisan Samman fund.
