BC Study circles in every constituency to train job aspirants: Gangula

Hyderabad: Backward Classes Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar on Sunday said that high-level training would be imparted to over one lakh job aspirants through the new BC Study Circles that will be established from June 2 in every Assembly constituency, to mark Telangana Formation Day celebrations.
For the first time in the country, 119 BC Study Circles, one each in every Assembly constituency would be set up, he said, after paying tributes to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule on the latter’s 195th birth anniversary.
“These study circles with good amenities will help students get coaching to appear for the examinations conducted by the Central and State governments for recruitment. This is in addition to the training given in personality development and spoken English,” the Minister said.
The upcoming study circles would be set up in areas where polytechnic, junior and degree colleges are already existing, he said, adding that since students were facing problems in attending classes because of Covid-19, the department has chalked out plans to use the latest technology in providing coaching to students.
At the same time, new computer labs would also be provided in the study circles. He inaugurated a digital studio to facilitate students undergo coaching without any problem. The training module that was prepared in the digital studio would be telecast through Youtube channel.
The students who are qualified to undergo training in BC Study Circles can also access the digital coaching facility with separate identity cards, Kamalakar said.
Stating that a new study circle would be established at Rajanna sircilla this year, he said that 1302 youth succeeded in getting jobs out of 15,214 candidates who underwent coaching in the BC Study Circles.
