Bengaluru DJ held with 7 grams of MDMA in Hyderabad

He smuggled it to Hyderabad and sold to consumers at a high rate and made easy money

Hyderabad: A Disco Jockey from Bengaluru was caught by the Excise Special Task Force police on charges of illegal possession and peddling of drugs at Serilingampally on Wednesday.

Officials seized 7 grams of MDMA drug from him.

Police said Sujeeth Kumar, who is studying degree at a private college in Bengaluru also works as DJ. He was aware of the huge demand for MDMA among the youth in Hyderabad and planned to sell them here.

Accordingly, he procured it for a lower rate from known drug dealers and smuggled it to Hyderabad and sold to consumers at a high rate and made easy money.

Following a tip-off, he was nabbed and the drug seized from him.
