Techie held for selling MDMA in Madhapur
Madhapur police arrested a techie for selling MDMA near Inorbit Mall. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
Hyderabad: The Madhapur police arrested a 23-year-old IT employee, identified as Sheikh Aman Ahmed, for allegedly selling MDMA near Inorbit Mall in Madhapur on Monday night.
According to police, the suspect was targeting IT employees to sell drugs.
Two alleged drug peddlers, Amir and Raheel, and a consumer identified as Madhu, are reportedly absconding. Police seized 7 grams of MDMA, valued at around Rs 1 lakh, along with a mobile phone from him.
The Madhapur police have registered a case under the NDPS Act and are investigating. Efforts are on to trace the remaining suspects and ascertain the source and distribution network of the drugs.
