Hyderabad: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was executed between GAIL India Limited and Bharosa Society for establishment of a new Bharosa centre at Medchal-Malkajgiri district as a part of GAIL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The MoU was signed here on Tuesday in the presence of Additional Director-General of Police, Women’s Safety Wing, Swati Lakra, DIG B Sumathi, Bharosa Technical Director Mamatha Raghuveer, GAIL India Limited ZGM Sharad Kumar and others.
The Bharosa centre building, which was constructed with financial support of Rs.10 lakh from GAIL, will start functioning from next month.
As part of CSR, the GAIL agreed to support Bharosa centre for two years and the project cost would be Rs.30 lakh for 2021-22 and 2022-23, according to Swati Lakra.
