Hyderabad: Seven youngsters, who allegedly performed motorbike stunts on the Begumpet road on Monday night were arrested by the police on Wednesday. The police seized four motorcycles and four mobile phones from them.
The arrested persons were Mohammed Altaf (25), Mohd Azam (19), Shaik Shadullah (21), Mohammed Ashwaq (23), Syed Aleem (19), Syed (20) and Mohd Jameel (20), all residents of Amberpet. Two others were absconding.
“They came from Amberpet to the Begumpet area late on Monday night and were performing dangerous bike stunts on the road. Their acts caused inconvenience to the public and endangered the lives of other motorists too. A case was booked and they were arrested,” Begumpet ACP P Naresh Reddy said.
Efforts are on to nab the two absconding persons.
