Hyderabad: Government Whip Balka Suman maintained that the moral victory belongs to TRS in the Huzurabad bypolls as both the BJP and the Congress colluded with each other to defeat the TRS. He said both the parties which are rivals at the national level, have turned into friends in the State without any shame. He pointed out that the newly elected MLA Eatala Rajender himself had admitted to have met TPCC president A Revanth Reddy.
Speaking to mediapersons at TRS Legislative Party office here on Wednesday, Suman said BJP State president Bandi Sanjay has been chanting about ‘RRR’ as the mantra to fight against the ruling TRS where RRR stands for Raja Singh, Raghunandan Rao and Revanth Reddy, but not Rajender. “Revanth is an expert in purchasing, selling and mortgaging. He mortgaged Congress to Rajender and supported the latter in Huzurabad bye-elections. People of Telangana observed this immoral marriage of convenience between both the parties,” he said.
The Government Whip advised the BJP leaders to stop making tall claims and spreading false propaganda after these elections, and start making efforts for development of the State. As promised during electioneering, he demanded them to fulfill their promises especially the pending projects from the Centre under Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. He said Rajender had quit TRS due to his mistakes, but the party did not throw him out. He pointed out that the BJP suffered severe defeat across the country, excluding a couple of seats during the recent bypolls.
MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, MLAs Krishna Mohan Reddy and Ch Kranthi Kiran, also spoke on the occasion.
