Khammam: BJP leaders on Tuesday took out a protest rally against the “objectionable remarks” made by Parkal MLA Ch Dharma Reddy against Lord Rama and the party’s State-wide fundraising drive for Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
The party district president Galla Satyanarayana led the rally from R & B guest house to the district collectorate shouting slogans against the MLA. Police rushed to the spot, took the protesting BJP leaders into custody and shifted them to two-town police station.
