Mulugu: A day after Youth Congress functionaries attacked the State BJP office in Hyderabad, the BJP workers destroyed flexies and posters of Panchayat Raj Minister Danasari Anusuyya alias Seethakka in Mulugu on Wednesday.

A few local BJP leaders tore Seethakka’s posters and flexies put up at the Mulugu headquarters and tried to create a scene. Though the police tried to stop them, they destroyed the flexies.

The BJP workers also raised slogans against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the Congress.

However, the situation was brought under control after additional forces were rushed to the spot. The police personnel chased away the BJP workers from the spot.

Later, the Congress workers reportedly attacked a book stall belonging to a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader and tried to destroy the material.
