Black Belt Taekwondo examination held in Hyderabad
Telangana Taekwondo Association held a Black Belt exam in Hyderabad, showcasing skill, fitness, and dedication among young martial artists

Hyderabad: The Telangana Taekwondo Association conducted a prestigious Black Belt examination on Sunday at Shiva Sai Gardens, ECIL, Hyderabad, marking a significant event for the State’s Taekwondo community.
The examination was held under the supervision of Grand Master Praveen Kumar (6th Dan Black Belt) and Chief Examiner Master A Kishore Kumar, Vice President of the Telangana Taekwondo Association. The intense session lasted over 11 hours, testing participants on technical skills, sparring, self-defence techniques, physical fitness, and syllabus-based performance.
Among the standout achievers were Samarth Nandyala and Likhith Kumar of the Power House Taekwondo Academy. After a demanding evaluation process, they were awarded the prestigious Black Belt, officially certified by the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Korea.
Expressing pride in their students’ accomplishments, Power House Academy founders Master Suresh Boya and Master Aravind Nandyala said, “This is not only a moment of pride for us but also an opportunity to inspire the younger generation to embrace fitness and self-defence through Taekwondo.”
The event underscored the growing interest in martial arts in Telangana and the commitment of local coaches and associations to nurture disciplined and skilled athletes.
