Book review fete promotes literature among children
Students were explained the factors important for reviewing books and were also motivated to read books reviewed by their friends.

Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally, hosted an Inter-House Book Review competition for students of grades VIII to X on December 2 on the online platform. Students shared their opinions of books of different genres ranging from adventure and thriller to science fiction.
They presented a clear and concise abstract of the book of their choice and spoke with conviction and recommended a few as the best books to read.The judges of the event, Nirmala Suri and B Sharda praised students for their eloquence and enthusiasm.
The first prize was bagged by Satweek Pradhan of Cauvery house, the second by Sreyas of Krishna house and Shiva Surya of Cauvery, the third prize was shared by Vajrika and SS Karthik of Godavari house while Jigyansa Dash, Kathyayani and Anjali were awarded consolation prizes.
The work of a variety of authors like Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, JK Rowling, Isaac Asimov and Dan Brown were appreciated by the audience. Students were explained the factors important for reviewing books and were also motivated to read books reviewed by their friends. It was an enriching experience to each and everyone involved in the event, students opined.
