Boy electrocuted, two others injured while flying kites in Sangareddy

Sangareddy: One of the three boys, who suffered severe burns when they came in contact with live electric wires while flying kites in Narayankhed town on Tuesday evening, died at a hospital on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Kappari Lokesh (11), son of Savithri and Sailu. Lokesh and his friends Sairam (11) and Sudharshan (9) were flying kites from the rooftop of a building. When their kite got stuck on live electric wires, they attempted to remove it and suffered a severe electric shock. While Lokesh suffered 90 per cent burn injuries, the other two children suffered 30 per cent burn injuries.
Lokesh, who was given first aid, was shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad where he died while undergoing treatment. The police registered a case.
