Hyderabad: A total of 400 BPharmacy seats remained vacant after the first phase of the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021 (BiPC) seat allotment on Tuesday.
According to details released by the Technical Education department, out of 7,562 BPharmacy seats in 118 colleges in the State, 7,162 were allotted to candidates leaving 400 vacant. Similarly, 1,170 Pharm D seats were allocated out of 1,183. Likewise, all seats in Pharmaceutical Engineering and Bio-Technology were allotted to students.
As many as 73,071 candidates qualified in the TS EAMCET -2021 BiPC stream and 14,384 candidates attended certificate verification, while 13,646 candidates exercised web options.
This year, a total of 8,807 seats were available in 120 colleges and 8,394 seats were allocated in the first phase of counselling. A total of 5,252 students gave web options but were not allotted seats. There were 43 colleges including four university and 39 private which received 100 per cent seat allotments this time.
Candidates who received provisional seat allotment orders must self-report online and pay the tuition fee on or before December 10. The provisional seat allotment stands cancelled if students fail to self-report online and pay the tuition fee before the last date.
