BRS leaders pay tributes to former PM PV Narasimha Rao

BRS working president KT Rama Rao hailed PV Narasimha Rao as a visionary who rescued India from an economic crisis and laid the groundwork for modern India with his bold reforms. Referring to him as Telangana's pride, he emphasized that the BRS government had honored Telangana's son by celebrating his birth centenary, renaming Necklace Road as PV Marg, and erecting a statue in his memory. The state also recommended him for the Bharat Ratna, he added.

Hyderabad: BRS leaders paid tributes to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his death anniversary, lauding his transformative contributions to India’s economics and politics.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao described PV Narasimha Rao as a visionary who saved India from economic crisis and laid the foundation for modern India through his bold reforms. Calling him as Telangana’s pride, he said Telangana’s son PV Narasimha Rao was honoured by the BRS government by celebrating his birth centenary celebrations, the naming of Necklace Road as PV Marg, and installing a statue. The State also recommended the Bharat Ratna for him,” he said.

BRS MLC K Kavitha hailed Narasimha Rao as a pioneer of economic reforms and a son of Telangana. She emphasised his role as a statesman whose policies set the stage for India’s progress.
