BRS working president KT Rama Rao hailed PV Narasimha Rao as a visionary who rescued India from an economic crisis and laid the groundwork for modern India with his bold reforms. Referring to him as Telangana's pride, he emphasized that the BRS government had honored Telangana's son by celebrating his birth centenary, renaming Necklace Road as PV Marg, and erecting a statue in his memory. The state also recommended him for the Bharat Ratna, he added.
