BRS signature campaign for SCB merger gains strong support in Arjun Nagar slums
The BRS signature campaign supporting the Secunderabad Cantonment Board merger with GHMC saw an overwhelming response in Rasoolpura, with over 2,300 signatures collected on Day 1 as residents, especially women, backed the move for better civic facilities

Hyderabad: The signature campaign aimed at collecting one lakh signatures by the BRS in Secunderabad Cantonment to support the SCB merger received immense response from the slums of Arjun Nagar in Rasoolpura.
BRS official spokesperson Manne Krishank, who headed the campaign, said, “Women came forward voluntarily and expressed their solidarity to SCB merger stating that their civic issues will be resolved once the civilian areas of the Cantonment merged with the GHMC.”
On day one, BRS supporters who conducted door-to-door outreach in Rasoolpura collected 2,367 signatures from residents. The campaign was progressing at a brisk pace, he said.
