Hyderabad: Former MLA and BRS leader Gadari Kishore Kumar warned Congress Ministers Adluri Laxman and MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy to refrain from mudslinging against party senior leader T Harish Rao. He advised them to mind their words while criticising the former Minister.

“Harish Rao only spoke on the Cabinet matters, but these Congress leaders are resorting to personal attacks. Do not provoke us. We too can respond in mass,” Kishore Kumar warned. He that the Congress government was marred by infighting and corruption, citing recent incidents involving Ministers Konda Surekha and Rohin Reddy.

He said the Chief Minister himself intervened to settle disputes linked to commissions in the Deccan Cements issue. “Even Konda Surekha‘s daughter accused the Chief Minister of misusing power and providing gunmen to his brothers. Isn’t that true?” he questioned.

Ridiculing the Congress leaders, the BRS leader said Adluri Laxman won in the Assembly elections by luck, after five failed attempts. Similarly, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy polled 100 votes when he contested for ZPTC. “This government isn’t Alibaba and 40 thieves, but it’s the Chief Minister and four thieves,” he declared.

Several BRS leaders, including former MP Badugula Yadav and ex-MLAs Ravindra Kumar and Nomula Bhagat, also attended.
