BSF foils narcotics smuggling bid along Jammu border, seizes two packets

The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled a narcotics smuggling attempt along the International Border in Jammu’s R S Pura sector, recovering two packets weighing over 2 kg. The operation in the area is ongoing, officials said.

Jammu: Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday recovered two packets of narcotics along the International Border here, officials said.

The recovery of the narcotics, believed to be more than 2 kg, scuttled an attempt by cross-border smugglers to carry it into this side, they said.

They said the recovery was made from a forward village in R S Pura sector.
