Burglars strike locked house in Dubbak, jewellery and cash stolen

Burglars looted gold, silver and cash from a locked house at Gosanpally in Dubbak mandal while the owners were away in Siddipet. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the burglary.

Siddipet: Burglars broke into a locked house and decamped with 18 tulas of gold ornaments, 30 tulas of silver ornaments and Rs. 30,000 in cash at Gosanpally in Dubbak mandal.

The owner, Aska Narsimhulu, and his wife had gone to Siddipet on Monday to spend a couple of days with their son’s family. On their return to Gosanpally on Wednesday morning, they found the doors open and the almirah, where they had kept the valuables, broken.


Narsimhulu lodged a complaint with the Dubbak police. A case was registered and investigation is on.
