BVRIT to showcase innovative ATVs at mBaja 2026
BV Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur, will host the mBaja event for the first time in South India. The 19th edition of Baja SAEINDIA will see engineering students design and test ATVs, with several dignitaries attending the February 25 inauguration
BVRIT will be hosting mBaja-2026 on campus premises on Tuesday onwards.
Medak: BV Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur, will host the mBaja (mechanical baja) event for the first time in South India. The management of the institute said it is a historic day in the institute’s journey as they got a rare opportunity.
Baja SAEINDIA is a prestigious national-level engineering design competition organised by SAEINDIA, an affiliate of SAE International.
During the competition, engineering students design, analyse, fabricate and test an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) to compete against teams from across the country. The event evaluates students in design, computer-aided engineering validation, manufacturing, cost analysis and dynamic performance events such as acceleration, manoeuvrability and endurance. It is the 19th edition of the Baja SAEINDIA event.
There will be several innovative models on display during the five-day event. Vice-Chancellor JNTU Prof T Kishen Reddy, Head of Bharat Petroleum for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Nitin Selukar, Executive Director of Nepal Automobiles Association Govinda Bhattarai, Chairman of Organising Committee Baja SAEINDIA Balaraj Subramaniyam and Secretary Sri Vishnu Educational Society K Aditya Vissam will participate in the inaugural event on the premises of the institute on February 25.
