Cab driver missing from Hyderabad found murdered in Sangareddy

A Hyderabad cab driver, reported missing on September 10, was found murdered at Rudraram in Sangareddy district. His cab was discovered nearly 50 km away near NH-65, with beer bottles and biryani packets inside, which police believe could aid the investigation.

Sangareddy: A cab driver, who went mysteriously missing from Hyderabad, was found murdered at Rudraram under Patancheru police station limits on Saturday. 

The victim was Rajshekhar (35), a native of Begumpet in Hyderabad. Rajashekhar, who was offering his cab services to the employees of a software company, was reported missing on September 10 at Begumpet police station by his family members. Interestingly, his cab was located some 50-km away from his dead body and closer to NH-65 at Budhera in Sangareddy district.

Upon inspection, the police recovered beer bottles and biryani packets from the car. The police observed that these items could play a key role in the investigation process. 

Meanwhile, the Patancheru police summoned more than a dozen cab drivers, who used to move closely with him, to the police station for questioning. The body was taken to the government hospital in Patancheru for postmortem. The probe is underway.
