Hyderabad: CallHealth, an aggregator of health services and dialysis network NephroPlus launched a joint initiative, ‘At Home Dialysis’, to offer dialysis services at the doorstep for chronic kidney patients.
An MoU was signed by both the companies and have initially rolled out the new offering in Hyderabad and will make it pan-India shortly.
Dialysis patients are susceptible to infections and are facing challenges due to Covid-19 conditions. Each visit takes 5 to 6 hours. The new service will reduce inconvenience, said Vikram Vuppala, Founder and CEO, NephroPlus.
NephroPlus will bring its expertise in dialysis care to patients and CallHealth will focus on customer convenience and related healthcare services. Both of them will offer diagnostics, patient support, dialysis and post dialysis care. A team of medical professionals, nursing staff and technicians will offer these services with. NephroPlus patients can also access virtual services of CallHealth for all their healthcare needs.
This service will bring in convenience at a marginally higher cost. Within a fortnight, the service will be accessible in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and pan-India by April this year, said Hari Thalapalli, CEO, CallHealth.
