CBIT hosts international seminar on design thinking for industry
The CBIT Hyderabad, conducted a one-day international seminar on ‘Industrial Applications of Design Thinking’. The seminar concluded with active participation and interactive discussions, offering valuable insights into sustainable industrial practices.

Hyderabad: Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad, organised a one-day international seminar on ‘Industrial Applications of Design Thinking’ highlighting the importance of innovation and user-centric approaches in industry.
The seminar was held under the guidance of N. Subash, President, CBIT, with Prof. C. V. Narasimhulu, Principal, serving as Patron, while Prof. PVR Ravindra Reddy acted as Advisor. The event was convened by Prof. V. Barla and organised by Dr. S. Saraswathi.
Prof. Narasimhulu said design thinking is essential in today’s fast-changing industrial landscape, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills. Prof. Barla emphasised its role in developing practical and sustainable solutions.
The keynote speaker, Prof. M. Janakiran, explained design thinking as a human-centred approach and presented relevant case studies. Prof. Jagadish Satyavolu shared global perspectives on innovation.
The seminar saw active participation from faculty, students, and researchers, and concluded successfully with interactive discussions and valuable insights into industrial applications of design thinking.
