Karimnagar: CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy alleged that the Union government was trying to destroy public property by privatising public sector undertakings in the country. Besides neglecting people’s issues, he said anti-farmers and workers laws were also being implemented by the Union government. He unveiled the martyrs memorial at Kondapalkala of Manakondur mandal on Saturday.

Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an agent to the corporate companies, Venkat Reddy alleged that the Central government was trying to sell PSUs in order to benefit a few of the corporate companies. He said an autocratic rule was being operated in Telangana State where Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was misleading people with his sweet talk.

The CPI leader called upon the party cadre to take up agitation programmes against anti-farmers and workers policies of the governments. CPI district secretary Ponaganti Kedari, assistant secretary Koyyada Srujan and others participated in the programme.
