Chiranjeevi gives update on Sai Dharam’s health, announces release date of ‘Republic’

In his latest tweet, Chiranjeevi also gave an update on Sai Dharam's upcoming political thriller titled 'Republic'

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi on Wednesday took to his Twitter handle to inform his fans that his nephew and actor Sai Dharam is recuperating from injuries.

It may be recalled that Sai Dharam suffered injuries after he fell off his sports bike near Ikea, the busy stretch leading to Hi-Tech City, a week ago.

In his latest tweet, Chiranjeevi also gave an update on Sai Dharam’s upcoming political thriller titled ‘Republic’.

“Sai Dharam Tej is recovering well. As per the wish of Sai Dharam, his next film ‘Republic’ will hit theatres on October 1. Love and respect from the audience would always protect Sai Dharam,” reads his tweet in Telugu.

‘Republic’ is directed by Deva Katta and is produced jointly by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagawan under the JB Entertainments banner in association with Zee Studios. 

The movie was initially scheduled to release on June 4 this year, however, it got indefinitely postponed due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. The movie features actor Aishwarya Rajesh in the female lead. Jagapathi Babu and Ram Krishna play other crucial roles. Mani Sharma provides the music.
