Cigarettes worth Rs. 3 lakhs stolen from kirana store in Hyderabad
According to information available, the unidentified suspects gained entry into Rarajeshwari kirana shop in early hours of Sunday.
Hyderabad: Two thieves targetted a kirana store in Madhuri Nagar under RGIA police limits and walked away with cigarettes worth Rs 3 lakh.
According to information available, the unidentified suspects gained entry into Rarajeshwari kirana shop in early hours of Sunday. The CCTV grab shows the duo stealing several cartons of cigarettes inside the shop at 5.30 am. The video also shows the two suspects crawling into the shop from a partially opened shutter, before hurriedly stuffing cartons of cigarettes into gunny bags.
One suspect, wearing a checkered shirt and a cap is seen handing over the bags to an accomplice outside the shop. Later, the other suspect in a light coloured t-shirt and dark jeans is seen checking around the shop before getting away.
A complaint has been registered at RGIA police station and investigation taken up.
