Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was always concerned for the agrarian community. He along with Mudhole MLA G Vittal Reddy formally inaugurated Rythu Vedika at Brahmangaon village in Mudhole mandal on Thursday.
Addressing a gathering, Indrakaran stated that Rythu Vedika buildings were being created as per vision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is known for introducing a slew of schemes for the welfare of farmers. He claimed that only Telangana was providing uninterrupted power to agriculture sector round the clock for free.
The Minister further said that the government was extending crop input support of Rs 5,000 per acre twice in a year. He stated that farmers were provided with insurance coverage of Rs 5 lakh and sufficient seeds and fertilizers were supplied. He observed that the new facilities would play vital role in uniting farmers and would become platforms for discussing their challenges.
Zilla Parishad Chairperson K Vijayalaxmi, Collector Musharraf Ali Farooqui and Rythu Bandhu coordinating committee convener N Venkatram Reddy were present.
