Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday extended greetings to the people of Telangana on the eve of Raksha Bandhan that will be celebrated on Sunday.
He said Raksha Bandhan, celebrated across the country, is a symbol of brotherhood where sisters tie Rakhis on the hands of their brothers, reflecting their love and affection towards the latter as well as seek their protection for the rest of their lives. The Chief Minister said the tradition of Raksha Bandhan reflects the high principles that prevail in India and further enhance brotherhood among the people.
