Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has kick-started his district tours from Siddipet and made a visit to Kamareddy to inaugurate the Integrated District Collectorate Complex as well as participate in other development programmes.
Siddipet: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated the Integrated District Collectorate Complex, the Police Commissionerate-cum-District Police Office complex and also the MLA camp office in Siddipet on Sunday. He kickstarted his district tours from Siddipet and also visited Kamareddy to inaugurate the Integrated District Collectorate Complex as well as participate in other development programmes.
Upon his arrival in the bus at Siddipet, the Chief Minister inaugurated the MLA’s camp office which has been constructed with all modern facilities at an expenditure of Rs 4 crore. He interacted with the TRS party leaders and activists who came to attend the inauguration ceremony. He also posed for photographs with the local leaders. While the ground floor will house the office of the MLA, the first floor will be used for his residence.
Later, Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated the Siddipet Police Commissionerate complex near Rampalli village in Kondapaka mandal on the outskirts of Siddipet town. He took the Guard of Honour from the police personnel on the occasion. He also inaugurated the Integrated District Collectorate Complex which houses all the district offices at one location. He made District Collector Venkatram Reddy sit in his chair at the latter’s chambers in the Collectorate Complex and congratulated him on the occasion.
Ministers T Harish Rao, Mohd Mahmood Ali, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MP K Prabhakar Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kukmar, elected representatives and officials concerned accompanied the Chief Minister.
Extending the fruits of administrative reforms like creation of new districts, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Integrated District Collectorate complex and the Police Commissionerate complex in Siddipet, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country. To encourage the government employees play a key role in creating Bangaru Telangana, the Collectorate complexes were constructed at the district headquarters in a beautiful, peaceful and comfortable environment. The MLA camp offices are also coming up so that MLAs are accessible to the people in the constituencies.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the building architect and her team for constructing the complex with spacious corridors, cross ventilation and maintaining the beauty and quality. He was impressed with the work done by Architect Usha Reddy and said that he was proud of her. He also felicitated officials incharge of the construction Ganapathi Reddy, Suddala Sudhakar Teja, representatives of Shapoorji Pallonji, as well as Road and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, and Collector Venktramreddy with shawl and a memento.
After inaugurating the MLA camp office in Siddipet, Chandrashekhar Rao affectionately interacted with the people of Siddipet and enquired about their well-being calling them by their names. He also posed for a group photograph with them. People showered their love and affection for the Chief Minister raising slogans of Jai KCR and Jai Telangana.
The Chief Minister said he always identifies himself as true son of Siddipet. He also explained on how as an MLA during the united AP rule, he faced problems to get people water for irrigation, drinking water purposes and supply of power. He explained about the qualitative change that Telangana had undergone from the united Andhra Pradesh rule to till now and reiterated that his journey would not be stopped till Bangaru Telangana is achieved.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who flew in by a chopper from Hyderabad, landed at the helipad in the newly built Integrated Collectorate Complex here to participate in several programmes on Sunday morning. He proceeded to MLA Camp Office located at MPDO Office in Siddipet. After inaugurating the Siddipet MLA Camp office, the Chief Minister took the blessings of his uncle Balakishan Rao.
Accompanied by Ministers T Harish Rao, Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Prasanth Reddy, Chief Secretary Somes Kumar, DGP M Mahendar Reddy and other officials and public representatives, Rao drove back to Rajiv Radharhi to inaugurate Siddipet Police Commissionerate building, built in 29 acres of land by spending Rs 19 crore on the outskirts of Rampally village.
After going through the new Commissionerate, the Chief Minister posed for pictures with the officials and Police personnel. He made the Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis to sit in his official chair, to mark the inauguration of the Commissionerate building, amid the chants of priests. Later, he drove back to the Collectorate building.
After inaugurating the building at 2 pm, the Chief Minister led Collector P Venkatrami Reddy to his chair at the Collector’s chamber. He had lunch with Ministers, MPs, MLAs and officials at 3.40 pm. He went through the offices at the Collectorate after having lunch and accepted representations from farmers. The Chief Minister also posed for pictures with officials, and elected representatives before leaving for Kamareddy at 5 pm.
