Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday directed officials to demolish the compound wall on the northern side of the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple atop Yadagirigutta to have a queue line there. The Chief Minister, who held a review meeting on the progress of works at Pragathi Bhavan here, said queue lines must be completed by April 15. He also wanted extensive use of brass designs for Deepa Sthamba (Light Pole), its pedestal and compound wall.
To facilitate a better view of the temple, instructions were issued to officials to demolish structures on the Northern side and cover the area with grills and railings. “There should be no obstruction and devotees should have a 360-degree view of the temple. It should appear like an iconic element,” said Chandrashekhar Rao.
He said like the Sudarshan Chakras placed during Brahmotsavams, tridents should be placed all along the Shiva temple. Rathasaala should be developed in consonance with the temple elevation, he said. The compound walls to be constructed around the Vishnu Pushkarini Hills should be illuminated with architectural lighting and an 80-feet tall lamp post should be placed at the centre of the lawn, he instructed.
Chief Minister complimented officials on the construction of Addala Mandapam (Mirror Hall). Later, he watched a demo on the architectural lighting being planned at the temple complex and surrounding areas during the night.
Rathasala decked up with ornamental designs
The renovated Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple will be equipped with a dedicated queue line structure with ornamental designs and specifically designed to withstand weather conditions, besides being extremely durable. The arch reflects Jain, Pallava and other architecture to give a feeling of spirituality among devotees before the Lord’s darshan.
The material used is a high-grade L6 aluminum which can sustain for many years. Similarly, all four walls of the Rathasala are being decked up with beautiful ornamental designs. Rathasaala ornamental designs have been done especially to sync with the temple works.
