Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will visit Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadadri on Tuesday, to review the progress of the development and reconstruction works which are nearing completion. He will announce the date as well as muhurat (auspicious time) for reopening the temple for devotees.
The Chief Minister will leave for Yadadri from Hyderabad at 11.30 am on Tuesday. He will inspect all the ongoing works and discuss with the officials to fine tune the arrangements. It may be recalled that the Chief Minister called on Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy at the latter’s ashram in Muchintal of Rangareddy district and the latter has already fixed the muhurat (auspicious time) for reopening the temple. Chandrashekhar Rao will also announce the details and dates of the Maha Sudarshan Yagam to be held during the reopening ceremony.
While the entire project of constructing bus stands and laying roads will take time, works on the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy main temple located on the hillock have been completed. The prestigious project has been taken up with a total estimation of Rs 1,800 crore and about Rs 1,000 crore have been spent for renovation of the main temple complex as well as other infrastructure works.
The State government has planned to invite several VVIPs for the inauguration of the renovated temple complex. Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao has already invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and several other dignitaries. All the invitees are learnt to have responded positively to the Chief Minister’s invitation and assured to attend the event. Prime Minister Modi is likely to be the chief guest of the ceremony.
